Natural Language Processing applied to clinical text — discharge summaries, notes, symptom descriptions.
Clinical NLP uses AI/ML to extract structured information from unstructured clinical text. Applications in MOVO-X include: extracting chief complaint from patient symptom descriptions at kiosk, parsing referral letters to populate appointment requests, and analysing discharge summaries for readmission risk scoring. MOVO-X uses the Claude claude-sonnet-4-6 model via the Anthropic API for clinical NLP tasks, with all processing in-region (Singapore) for data residency compliance.
