FPX (Financial Process Exchange) is PayNet Malaysia's real-time interbank payment platform, enabling direct bank transfer payments from 30+ Malaysian banks. It is the primary cashless payment method in Malaysia for healthcare bills, with near-universal bank coverage (AmBank, CIMB, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB, etc.). MOVO-X kiosks integrate FPX for hospital bill payment, deposit collection, and appointment booking fees via the PayNet FPX API.
Malaysian Context
FPX processes RM 250B+ in transactions annually. It is preferred over card payments in Malaysian healthcare because it has no merchant discount rate for B2C (zero MDR on debit FPX under RM 1,000 for certain categories).
