Supabase (Healthcare Context)
Open-source Firebase alternative used as MOVO-X's backend database, auth, and realtime layer.
Supabase is an open-source backend platform built on PostgreSQL, providing database, authentication, real-time subscriptions, file storage, and edge functions. MOVO-X uses Supabase's Singapore region (ap-southeast-1) for Malaysian patient data, leveraging Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce multi-tenant data isolation between hospitals, and PostgreSQL LISTEN/NOTIFY for real-time queue updates. Supabase's HIPAA-ready tier (with BAA) is used for MOVO-X production deployments.
