Acuity Score
A numerical score reflecting the clinical severity and resource requirements of a patient presentation.
An acuity score is a continuous numerical representation of clinical severity, providing more granular differentiation within triage levels. MOVO-X generates acuity scores (0–100) using a neural network trained on Malaysian ED and OPD presentation data. Higher scores flag patients for closer monitoring and faster queue advancement. Acuity scoring improves on categorical triage levels by enabling fine-grained prioritisation within the same triage category.
