APDU Command
Application Protocol Data Unit — the command-response protocol for communicating with smart card chips.
APDU (Application Protocol Data Unit) is the communication protocol defined in ISO/IEC 7816-4 for exchanging data with smart card chips. Each APDU command has a header (CLA, INS, P1, P2) and optional data field, and receives a response with data and status word (SW1, SW2). To read MyKad data, MOVO-X sends a SELECT application APDU followed by READ BINARY commands to retrieve personal data files from the card's file system.
