Encryption at Rest
The encryption of stored data so it cannot be read if storage media is physically compromised.
Encryption at rest protects patient data stored in databases, file systems, or backups. MOVO-X uses AES-256 encryption at the database level (Supabase/PostgreSQL Transparent Data Encryption) and application-level envelope encryption for particularly sensitive fields (MyKad numbers, clinical notes). Encryption keys are managed via AWS KMS with annual key rotation. The encryption implementation meets ISO 27001 Annex A.10.1 requirements.
