Encryption in Transit
The encryption of data while it is being transmitted between systems or to users.
Encryption in transit prevents eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks on data flowing between kiosks, servers, and user browsers. MOVO-X enforces TLS 1.3 minimum for all connections, with TLS 1.2 as a fallback for legacy hardware. HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers prevent downgrade attacks. All inter-service communication within the MOVO-X platform uses mutual TLS (mTLS) for service-to-service authentication.
